Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Correctional Nurse Practitioner Location: Chillicothe, OH Shift: Full-Time | 40 hrs/week Duration: 3+ Month s Overview: Seeking a licensed Ohio Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with at least 1 year of NP experience in primary care or hospital medicine to provide on-site care in a correctional setting. Preferred schedule: five 8-hour shifts/week, no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Assignment may be extended. Responsibilities: • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions. • Perform physical exams, minor procedures, vaccinations, and treatments. • Order and review labs, imaging, and consults; manage medications. • Provide routine and emergency care, conduct infirmary rounds. • Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with clinical protocols.

Requirements: • Active Ohio NP license and board certification (FNP or AGNP). • BLS/CPR certification; DEA registration if applicable.
