An established, service-oriented landscape design and build firm based in the Metro Detroit area is looking to expand its service offerings.

Operating since 1998, the organization provides high-quality landscape architectural concepts, design, and construction, prioritizing excellent customer service and efficiency. This represents a highly stable yet entrepreneurial environment for a driven professional eager to build a meaningful growth area for the company. Responsibilities Take complete ownership of the newer fertilization and plant health care department to make it your own.

Grow recurring fertilization revenue and actively expand the customer base through dedicated business development efforts. Perform field applications and technical execution during the department's initial growth phase. Assist with landscape project management on an as-needed basis when capacity allows. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.

Build, lead, and oversee a team of additional technicians as the department scales. Requirements Proven experience in technical execution within the fertilization and plant health care industry. Strong business acumen with the demonstrated capability to own and develop a growing division. Excellent customer service skills with a natural ability for maintaining client relationships. Fertilizer/pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain required licensing.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility to wear multiple hats while the department is still small. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000. Meaningful performance incentive tied directly to the growth of the fertilization/plant health care business. Realistic total compensation opportunity of $75,000 - $90,000+ for successful department growth. Health, dental, and vision insurance.
