What you'll do You will play a crucial role in supporting period end activities, delivering timely and accurate reporting with insightful analysis, and partnering with the wider Finance team to drive performance through robust controls. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities within performance trends, challenge current processes for continuous improvement, and provide ad hoc analysis to support business improvements.

Your role will require strong numerical and Excel skills, commercial acumen, attention to detail, and effective communication to engage stakeholders across various levels of financial and commercial understanding in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Who you are You are a part or fully qualified accountant with a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail, capable of translating complex data into meaningful business insights to drive performance.

Your ability to effectively communicate financial information, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and challenge current practises demonstrates your commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality analysis. With a proactive approach, commercial acumen, and self-motivation, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of robust controls and supporting the Finance Manager in achieving business objectives through accurate reporting and informed decision-making.

Essential Criteria Part or fully qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent  Demonstrable experience in period/month end reporting, as well as supporting with budgeting, latest view and forecasting  Demonstrable ability to analyse financial and operational data using Excel and other analytical tools, translating findings into clear insights and recommendations Evidence of managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment, while balancing the expectations of finance and business stakeholders Proven ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of financial and commercial understanding Demonstrable commercial awareness, with the ability to identify key business drivers, apply sound judgement, and produce accurate financial analysis #LI-CE1 We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer, so you’ll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work.
