Automotive manufacturing is a plus.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCEProfessional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CPA or CA)A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience in accounting in a manufacturing settingExperience in automotive manufacturing is an asset.Practical, relevant experience with Microsoft Office.Good math skills and the ability to analyze data.Strong listening and communication (verbal and written) skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and with a variable workload (flexible hours).Ability to understand, anticipate and follow direction while exercising maturity of judgement.Must be able to interact effectively with other team members.Ability to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact.DUTIES:Complete accurate and consistent accounting recordsAdherence to Government and Corporate policies and proceduresPerform banking functions and bank reconciliations as requiredReview all capital expenditures to ensure proper account code distributionMaintain monthly fixed assets addition schedule and all supporting documentsMaintain monthly tooling and analysis reconciliation scheduleMaintain, manage, track and update program related Purchase Orders and cash disbursements related to programsUpdate the program proforma income statements as requiredReconcile balance sheet accounts related to tooling inventory, fixed
