Partner and support the Regional IT Teams, Procurement, Regional Operations Directors and Regional Finance teams in all aspects of International IT Finance. Lead and coordinate the quarterly Outlook and annual operating planning processes for the IT Function and Software P&L's including consideration for Growth, Inflation and Forex implications. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to Senior Management.
Complete monthly analysis of actual operating costs and provide explanation of variances to Outlook/Plan/Prior Year. Own end-to-end IT capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, governance, and tracking across regions, aligning investment roadmaps with strategy and approved funding envelopes. Develop and present a monthly reporting pack to senior management comprising of updates from each of the regions.
Be the first point of contact for IT requests for the International Operating Group. Support the wider business in understanding Software spend, engaging with the regions and corporate. Support the month end close process performing reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, maintain and adjust for accruals, prepayments and fixed assets. Working alongside the GBS teams. Other adhoc tasks as and when they are required.
Develop and work towards transferring any manual processes and transactional activities to GBS. Develop and improve consolidated reporting. Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA or similar) preferable and/or 5+ of relevant financial analyst experience. Strong Business Partnering skills, comfortable presenting to senior management. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills essential.
Must be pro-active and demonstrate ability to see things through to the end. Ability to manage details. Strong English written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple duties in a fast-paced environment with proven time management capabilities. Works independently as well as part of a team; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives.
