We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Southampton as our new Food & Beverage Server. Reporting to the Maître d', the Food & Beverage Server is responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized service to guests throughout their dining experience at Fairmont Southampton. This role is a key ambassador for the hotel's culinary excellence, ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and well cared for through attentive service, product knowledge, and a professional approach consistent with Fairmont and Accor service standards., Guest Service & Dining Experience Provide warm, professional, and enthusiastic service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and memorable dining experience.

Greet guests promptly, present menus, explain daily specials, and confidently answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously at all times, regardless of service volume or time of day. Regularly check guest satisfaction during service, address concerns proactively, and take appropriate action to resolve issues. Maintain professional, friendly interactions with guests to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty.

Service Operations & Order Management Report to the Restaurant Captain at the start of each shift to receive floor assignments, side duties, service instructions, menu updates, and guest feedback. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar colleagues using approved point-of-sale systems. Process guest checks accurately and follow self-cashiering and internal control procedures when applicable.

Follow responsible service of alcohol guidelines and comply with all legal and hotel requirements Deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensuring correct presentation, timing, and quality standards are met. Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset throughout service in accordance with outlet standards. Deliver food & beverages to the guests from the kitchen or bar. You will be required on some shifts to do this for the entire shift.

Cleanliness, Safety & Standards Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and safe work area, including assigned tables and service stations. Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and conduct in line with Fairmont brand standards. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages. Adhere to all outlet policies, procedures, and Fairmont service standards.

Maintain a professional appearance and positive working relationships with colleagues at all times. Teamwork & Operational Support Work collaboratively with the service team, kitchen, bar, and leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Assist colleagues during peak service periods to maintain service flow and guest satisfaction. You will be required to lift and move chairs and tables as required for restaurant operations.

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support restaurant operations., Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as operational needs require. Role requires prolonged standing, walking, and physical activity throughout service periods such as holding trays, setting up sections, carrying/moving tables and chairs. Employees may be required to work across any Food & Beverage outlet within the hotel, with the flexibility to be transferred or assigned to different outlets based on operational requirements.
