To be successful as a Full Stack Senior Developer , you should have experience with: Strong expertise in Java 21+ and Spring Boot, including development of scalable microservices, API design, security, resilience patterns, and performance optimization.
Deep knowledge of asynchronous messaging frameworks, including Kafka and IBM MQ with expertise in event-driven architecture, message design, delivery guarantees, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with REST-based integrations- using Rest Template/Web Client service-to-service communication, and distributed system architecture. Experience with Oracle and MongoDB databases, query optimization, transaction management, and integration with microservices.
Strong understanding of design patterns and engineering best practices for highly scalable, resilient, and asynchronous processing systems, including observability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning. Some other highly valued skills may include: Knowledge and practical application of Agentic AI, AI-assisted development tools, and automation frameworks. Experience with any Public Cloud platforms preferably AWS, including cloud-native architecture, containerization, and managed services.
Domain knowledge of Payments Processing, including payment lifecycles, messaging standards, reconciliation, fraud controls, and regulatory considerations.
