As a Gas Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards and customer expectations. This role is a mobile role, working predominately in the Bristol/Bath area.
You will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of this patch., Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair domestic heating systems, including fault-finding, installation, and annual servicing. Quality Workmanship: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, complying with building regulations and safety requirements. Customer Service: Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to our customers, ensuring the highest standard of customer service and satisfaction.
Maintenance and Testing: Perform periodic testing and installation work, ensuring compliance with current best practices and guidelines. Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. On-Call Participation: Take part in an out-of-hours on-call structure and attend meetings and training as required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing boiler faults, performing annual servicing, and carrying out installation work. Customer Focus: Experience working in customers' homes, demonstrating a professional and positive approach. Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. IT Skills: Proficient in the use and application of mobile technology.
Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with LPG and Oil systems is desirable. Qualifications Required: CCN1 (Domestic Core Element). CENWAT1 (Domestic Gas Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters). Desirable: CKR1 (Cookers) - Required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing the probation period. Desirable: HTR1 (Heaters) - Required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing the probation period.
