• Ongoing locum Gastroenterology opportunity starting July 2026 in a hospital-based practice setting. • Coverage includes scheduled procedures, inpatient consults, rounding, and call responsibilities. • Supportive environment with onsite anesthesia coverage, PA support for rounding, and EPIC EMR system. • Flexible block coverage available with established schedules throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities: • Perform GI procedures including scheduled inpatient and outpatient cases • Provide inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and ER consult coverage • Manage GI patient care for adult patient population (18+) • Participate in weeknight beeper call and weekend 24-hour call rotation • Document patient encounters and treatment plans using EPIC EMR • Collaborate with APPs, anesthesia team, and hospital staff to ensure quality patient care Qualifications: • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology • Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ required • DEA certification required • Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience preferred • Comfortable managing inpatient GI consults independently Working Hours: • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM + weeknight beeper call • Saturday/Sunday: 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a) • Scheduled procedures typically 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM • Inpatient rounding and consults in afternoons • Ongoing coverage dates available throughout 2026 Skills: • General Gastroenterology • Inpatient GI consults and rounding • Endoscopy procedures • ER consult management • Hospital-based patient care • EPIC EMR proficiency • Collaborative multidisciplinary care
