Core Criteria: Minimum 5 years' experience as a General Manager or senior manager within a lodge, resort, or hotel environment Proven track record managing multi-department operations (accommodation, F&B, spa, activities) Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, stock control, and cost management Solid staff management and leadership skills, with experience training and disciplining teams Understanding of maintenance and facilities management in a remote lodge setting Excellent guest relations and problem-solving ability Comfortable living and working in a remote, bush-based environment Valid driver's licence Core Responsibilities: Oversee all day-to-day operations across accommodation, food and beverage, spa, and guest activities Manage and mentor department heads and staff across the property Control budgets, stock, and operational costs Maintain high standards of guest service and resolve guest queries or complaints Oversee maintenance and upkeep of lodge facilities and grounds Manage staffing, rosters, and training across departments Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld throughout the property Liaise with ownership or management on performance, reporting, and strategic planning Coordinate with reservations and marketing to support occupancy and revenue goals On Offer: Salary: R30,000 to R40,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience Live-in position, accommodation included
