At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water Division, working on one of our current three frameworks with Scottish Water.
- SR21 DV1 : Capital works water and wastewater framework, delivered by the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) Joint Venture. Primarily infrastructure and civil engineering project improving network resilient and protecting the environment. - SR21 DV2 : Predominantly MEICA based capital maintenance framework on existing water and wastewater assets. Upgrade, refurbishment and high value capital maintenance projects - SR27 DV4 : The integrated design and construction of civil and infrastructure projects within SW 12 years enterprise arrangement.
Project and programme opportunities across the full capital investment programme. As a Graduate Design Civil Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to: - Assist design engineers in implementing the project requirements to fully meet the client scope and specification in accordance with relevant standards. - Prepare design deliverables such as, calculations, drawings, and other documentation under the direction of the Senior Engineer.
- Comply with the requirements of the CWA Management Systems including Health & safety, Environmental and all other appropriate regulations. - Carry out site visits and survey inspection assessments under the supervision of others. - Undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within your ability but have the confidence to seek advice from others. - Gain an understanding of the management of project budgets and programme.
- Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate identify innovation/best practice for consideration.
