At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water Division, working on one of our current three frameworks with Scottish Water.
- SR21 DV1 : Capital works water and wastewater framework, delivered by the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) Joint Venture. Primarily infrastructure and civil engineering project improving network resilient and protecting the environment. - SR21 DV2 : Predominantly MEICA based capital maintenance framework on existing water and wastewater assets. Upgrade, refurbishment and high value capital maintenance projects - SR27 DV4 : The integrated design and construction of civil and infrastructure projects within SW 12 years enterprise arrangement.

As a Graduate Site Civil Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to: - Assist in the design, planning and delivery of civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects - Support site investigations, surveys and assessments to inform design and construction decisions - Contribute to the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and reports - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers - Attend site visits to gain hands-on experience and understand construction methodologies - Assist in monitoring project progress, quality and compliance with health and safety standards - Support the identification and resolution of engineering challenges during project delivery - Learn how to manage subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute to procurement activities - Participate in risk assessments, method statements and environmental planning You'll be: - Learning how civil engineering principles are applied in real-world infrastructure projects - Developing technical knowledge in areas such as drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and pipeline installation - Building confidence in project coordination, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving - Supported by experienced engineers and mentors to help you grow into a future technical leader A degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or are due to graduate this year) - Great communication skills and a willingness to learn - A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference - A full UK/EU driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites We want to be an employer of choice and a great place to work, attracting diverse and talented people, who join us and make a difference.
