This is a full-time, permanent role (35 hours/week), including some weekends. We're looking for a compassionate and organised Head Housekeeper to lead our warm and welcoming housekeeping team at Brendoncare Stildon Make a real difference every day As Head Housekeeper, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where our residents truly feel at home.
You'll lead the housekeeping and laundry team, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across the home. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing the cleaning and laundry team day-to-day Creating and updating cleaning and laundry schedules Liaising with residents and families to understand preferences Supervising external cleaners and monitoring performance Ordering and maintaining stock of cleaning supplies and equipment Auditing equipment condition and organising repairs/replacements Ensuring laundry runs efficiently and meets required standards Completing risk assessments Ensuring full compliance with COSHH regulations We're looking for someone with experience in a domestic or cleaning role outside the home, ideally with some supervisory experience.
