Head of Civil Engineering (m/f/d) Role: In this role, as Head of Civil Engineering and Utilities, you will shape the planning, design, construction, and renovation of infrastructure in general civil and road construction.
You ensure that construction projects are professionally planned from the ground up and implemented efficiently. You analyse and prioritise upcoming projects and ensure their coordinated execution. Additionally, you take on exciting individual projects where you apply your professional expertise purposefully. Through your structured approach, you contribute significantly to sustainable and future-oriented infrastructure.
Responsibilities: You plan, execute, and supervise projects in civil engineering, road construction, urban drainage, watercourses, utilities, and traffic In this role, you act as the contact person for cantonal authorities and commissioned service providers As Head of Civil Engineering, you plan and organise construction inspections in building and civil engineering as well as utilities and conduct them You prepare applications as a basis for decisions for the municipal council and accompany their implementation In this role, you represent the management of the building administration in their absence and work closely with the municipal depot Qualifications: You have a basic education as a draughtsperson specialising in civil engineering EFZ, road builder EFZ, or bricklayer EFZ, supplemented by further training, for example at a higher technical college or as a civil engineer FH You have at least 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering, road construction, or related fields You enjoy working in a team and approach tasks proactively and dynamically You make decisive decisions, solve problems systematically, and can organise and supervise projects efficiently You identify with your work and gladly take on responsibility You are communicative, confident in negotiations, adapt to different interlocutors, and express yourself simply and clearly both in writing and orally Benefits: Flexible working hours Experienced and dynamic team Good transport connections and accessibility Interesting and varied activities/projects ROCKEN Jobs: https://rocken.jobs Create profile: https://rocken.jobs/application/profil-erstellen/ Workplace St.
