Equans is looking for a Head of Commercial to join our team on a permanent basis. We are flexible on where the successful candidate is based but they must be prepared to travel across the UK. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance and benefits package. The Head of Commercial will provide strategic commercial leadership across a portfolio of complex FM services and project contracts with primarily central government/GPA clients.

Working closely with the Business Unit Director and wider leadership team to support, securing, delivering and growing profitable contract portfolio. What will you deliver? Defining and/or advising on commercial and pricing strategy Analysing and managing risk including assessing the revenue opportunity vs. cost and risk Managing and securing internal approvals for new bid opportunities Managing the commercial viability of variations Leading negotiations encompassing multiple disciplines including supplier negotiations and flow-downs Supporting the Commercial Director in the satisfaction of commercial and company objectives Taking the Commercial lead with clients directly to identify and resolve variation from the contract deliverables Negotiating, on an equitable basis, internally and externally to ensure that the business is not exposed to risk What can we offer you?

Suitable commercial and team management experience Educated to degree/ diploma level in either Law, Business, Surveying (Building/Quantity), or the Built Environment (FM, Land) Understanding and practical application of base UK law applicable to Commercial (Construction Act etc) Ideally a member or training to be member of a chartered institution Has extensive commercial and contracts experience and demonstrable track record of owning and delivering post contract activity Who are we?
