Mining Heavy Equipment Operators - Kearl - 14/14 - Camp + Paid Flights - Up to $56.50/hr - Fort McMurray, AB North American Construction Group is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team at the Kearl mining site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Operators will work with D9-D11 dozers in a remote camp environment, supporting mining operations and ensuring safety standards are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with significant dozer experience looking to join a reputable company with long-term contracts and room for advancement. Perks & Benefits Up to $56.50/hour combined rate of pay Camp accommodations provided Paid flights to and from Edmonton or Calgary Vacation and statutory holiday pay allocated to each paycheck Night shift premium of $1.20/hour Weekly pay Membership with IUOE Local 955 Benefits and pension after 400 hours (medical and dental) PPE provided (bring CSA certified steel toed boots) Room for growth and advancement GRRSP matching What You’ll Need Minimum 5 years of experience operating D9-D11 sized dozers At least 1 year working with mining shovels Experience operating on muskeg/soft ground Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Proficiency in English (verbal and written) Ability to follow instructions and prioritize safety High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education is an asset Valid CSO Certification Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness or Energy Safety Canada Wildlife Awareness (Kearl only) Ability to pass pre-employment testing: breath alcohol, urine drug, fitness-to-work, audiometric, vision, and criminal record check What Will Make You Stand Out Minimum one year experience in a mining atmosphere preferred
