Hem/Onc for state-of-the-art Cancer Center in North ID - $65K Sign-On

St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our established Radiation Oncology, Cancer Center & Blood Institute team. As a 145-bed general acute care hospital, we are the largest full-service regional medical center between Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington.

With a Level III Trauma Center and more than 100 board‑certified physicians and providers in both primary care and specialty disciplines, we deliver advanced-level specialty healthcare to ensure every patient, and their loved ones, have everything they need to feel comforted, every step of their journey. About the position: Low call volume – infrequent hospital visits ( Call Schedule: 1 weekend/month and 1–3 weekday evening call shifts (4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.) Care Model: Dedicated RN support for each provider (all clinical staff are RNs; no MAs); physician and NP follow the same patient panel together Team: 2 Hem/Onc Physicians and 2 NPs Schedule: 36 patient care hours, 4 hours admin (flexible) Clinic Hours: 8a–4:30p M–F Dedicated phone triage nurse takes majority of first calls Expected mature patient volume: 15+ /day; follow-up visits 30m /new 1h EMR: Mosaiq Qualifications: BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority Our Notable Highlights: Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited Very advanced collaborative Rad-Onc program We have a Leader in Rad-Onc prostate spacers technology BC Oncology Pharmacist/pharmacy onsite Chemo mixing room and infusion center on site Bi-Specific therapy recently introduced/available Dedicated Nurse navigators – Oral chemotherapy and breast & head/neck; Rated “A” for Hospital Safety two consecutive cycles by The Leapfrog Group One of 100 hospitals – and one of only two in Idaho Named to Becker's 2025 listing of "Great Community Hospitals" Recruitment package may include: Compensation: Base salary starts at $535,000 or better + wRVU production incentive OR pure production $65K Sign-on bonus 25 days' PTO $5K CME allowance $15K relocation allowance Student loan repayment assistance Health benefits 401(k) retirement plan Medical malpractice insurance/tail coverage Residency stipend About Lewiston: Located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers, Lewiston is a regional hub for healthcare and commerce.
