Job Responsibilities: • Provide in-house coverage for surgical patients • Manage admissions, acute care, and post-op patients • Coordinate with nursing and support staff as needed • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR Qualifications: • Board-certified in General Surgery • PA medical license required • DEA registration required • Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required • Strong general surgery skills Working Hours: • 24-hour call shifts • Scheduled based on provider availability (1 week at a time) • Coverage approximately 2.7 FTE equivalent per month Skills: • Wide-ranging general surgery acumen • Acute surgical patient management • Effective communication and teamwork • Epic EMR proficiency
