Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician Opportunity – North Dakota Position Overview Seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage in an outpatient endoscopy setting in North Dakota. This is a procedural-focused opportunity with no call responsibilities and a supportive clinical team. Coverage Dates Multiple coverage blocks available from August through December.

Practice Setting Outpatient Endoscopy Center Monday–Friday schedule No call requirements Typical hours begin as early as 7:30 AM and end as late as 4:30 PM, allowing time for charting 30-minute lunch break Patient Volume & Procedures Approximately 14–16 procedures per day Primarily outpatient colonoscopies and EGDs Additional procedures may include: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy Foreign body removal Hemostasis/fulguration of bleeding lesions Variceal injection therapy Esophageal dilation Esophageal manometry Small bowel biopsy Flexible sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy Support Staff Dedicated CRNA Registered Nurse assigned to each procedure room Endoscopy Technician support Other Gastroenterologists typically onsite during coverage No APP/Midlevel support in the outpatient setting Requirements Active North Dakota medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Board Certification in Gastroenterology Experience performing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
