Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an academy. The successful candidate will work with our Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) to support access to learning for pupils with SEND and provide general support to our teaching professionals in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Our Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of one-to-one and small group intervention work, including the shared oversight of the work of our Teaching Assistants. Potential applicants should have: Level 2 HLTA qualification or equivalent. Experience of working with young people. The ability to work constructively as part of a team. Strong numeracy/literacy skills.
