J ob Title: Advanced Practice Nurse – Psychiatric-Mental Health Location: Dayton, OH 45417 Duration: 3+ months (with potential extension) Schedule: 24–30 hours per week, Monday–Friday (No nights, weekends, or holidays) Minimum Education Level: Doctoral Degree Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide on-site psychiatric and mental health services to a female correctional population.

The role offers flexible shift start/end times based on operational needs. An on-site interview will be required. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties: • Provide direct psychiatric/mental health care in person or via videoconferencing, including: o Mental health and psychopharmacological assessments o Formulating diagnoses o Psychotropic medication management o Crisis intervention as needed • Perform mental health evaluations and determine treatment and medication needs • Prescribe medications and manage individualized treatment plans • Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests and findings • Collaborate with medical and mental health staff to ensure integrated care • Document all clinical encounters and medication management in compliance with policy • Participate in treatment planning and team meetings for caseload patients • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to nurses and other mental health staff • Receive regular supervision from collaborating physician • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives • Maintain clinical competency and stay current with best practices Required Credentials & Documentation • Comprehensive resume (include education, location, and graduation year) • Cover Letter • Current Ohio Medical License • Board Certification (e.g., ANCC for nurses) • DEA certification • BLS/CPR certification (healthcare professional level) • COVID vaccine card or exemption letter • US Passport or Naturalization card (if born outside the US)
