Join a respected healthcare team in beautiful Brattleboro, Vermont , where quality care and collaboration are at the heart of everything you do. 📍 Position Highlights 🕖 Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts) 🔄 Rotating weekends 📞 Rotating call schedule 🏥 61-bed community hospital 👩‍⚕️ Strong specialty backup support ❌ No procedures required 🩺 Your Responsibilities As a Hospitalist, you will: Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounding, and discharges Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Provide ventilator management Respond to codes and rapid response situations Collaborate with specialists, emergency physicians, CRNAs, respiratory therapy, and nursing teams Coordinate transitions of care and discharge planning Interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics Document thoroughly and timely in the EMR Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees This role offers strong interdisciplinary collaboration and a mission-driven environment focused on patient-centered care.

✅ Requirements MD or DO from accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible (IM or FM) Active Vermont Medical License DEA (required prior to start) BLS & ACLS Certifications Ventilator management experience Experience running codes 2–3 years Hospitalist experience (highly preferred) Rural health experience (preferred) Clean malpractice history NPDB self-query (within 30 days) ❌ No locums or locums-to-perm ❌ Must reside within 1 hour commute 🌟 Why Brattleboro, VT?
