This exciting lodge opportunity is suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for personalised guest service, operational excellence and team development.
The reserve offers an exclusive luxury safari experience where world-class comfort, exceptional wildlife encounters and attentive service come together. Each lodge reflects the distinctive character, traditions and peaceful atmosphere of the Karoo . The successful Manager will be responsible for maintaining exceptional guest experiences, leading hospitality teams across multiple properties and ensuring consistent compliance with operational standards.
This position requires a calm, solutions-driven leader with strong financial awareness, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to sustainability. Job Requirements Minimum of five years’ experience in the hospitality industry. At least two years’ managerial experience within a five-star hotel or luxury lodge . Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage hospitality teams. Experience overseeing operations across multiple properties or departments.
Exceptional guest service, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong operational and financial acumen. Experience managing front-of-house and beverage budgets. Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Sound knowledge of SOP implementation and compliance. Proficiency in hospitality systems and Microsoft Office. Detail-oriented and able to remain calm under pressure. Passion for luxury hospitality, sustainability and the Karoo environment.
Ability to encourage interdepartmental collaboration and meaningful guest engagement. Package Market-related monthly basic salary. Salary negotiable according to experience. Live-in accommodation.
