Contract Terms: 35 hours per week (full time), permanentSalary: £41,904- £46,015, Grade E4-E1 + car allowance.Salaryplacing will normally be at the first point of the scale.Location: Invergordon with hybrid working (Weekly office attendance is required, typically across multiple days each week)Closing Date: Friday, 18th September 2026 at noonInterview Date: Week commencing 28th September About the role Albyn Housing Society is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Housing Officer to provide excellent, tailored support to our tenants.

In this role, you will manage an assigned caseload and deliver a comprehensive housing management service across a range of tenancy-related functions, including allocations, voids, tenancy and estate management, and anti-social behaviour. You will ensure services meet and exceed our standards while adhering to Scottish social housing regulations. This position offers a mix of office and remote working, along with site visits across the Highlands.

Key responsibilities include supporting tenants throughout their tenancy, addressing tenancy and neighbourhood issues, and resolving concerns efficiently and effectively. The role includes a requirement to participate in the out of hours cover rota, providing support outside of normal working hours when required. This commitment is expected to be approximately three times per year and will be planned in advance wherever possible.

About YouWe are seeking a proactive, organised, and customer-focused individual with a strong background in housing management. To thrive in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, an ability to work independently, and a commitment to helping tenants succeed. A working knowledge of social housing policies and tenancy legislation is essential. Requirements: Minimum of an HNC in Housing-related studies OR relevant experience in housing management.

Strong organisational abilities and an independent approach to managing caseloads. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing management systems. Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and collaborate effectively. A positive and adaptable outlook, with excellent communication skills for successfully handling challenging situations. Current and full driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
