We are seeking a dedicated and disciplined professional to join our team as Production HR Supervisor . Please note that this position is based in a factory environment , and the successful candidate will be required to spend over 90% of the workday on the factory floor . Applicants without prior HR, IR, factory or manufacturing experience will not be considered. Job description The Production HR Supervisor supports the development of people, culture, discipline, and teamwork within the manufacturing plant.
This role works closely with the HR Department to monitor, evaluate, train, and guide all production personnel. The position ensures consistent application of company policies, promotes a safe and secure environment, and strengthens the culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to): 1. Policy Compliance Oversight Monitor adherence to all company policies using cameras, logs, attendance systems, and floor supervision.
Document violations and escalate issues in accordance with disciplinary procedures. Ensure consistent, fair application of rules across all shifts and departments. 2. Security & Safety Monitoring Evaluate and implement plant security and safety plans in collaboration with HSE and Security teams. Conduct routine inspections of entrances, exits, restricted areas, and production zones. Support investigations of incidents, near misses, and safety breaches.
3. People Development & Evaluation Work with supervisors and team leads to assess employee performance, skills, and training needs. Support onboarding, cross‑training, and continuous development programs. Assist in succession planning and identifying high‑potential employees. 4. Industrial Relations Support Maintain positive employee relations through visibility, communication, and fairness. Address concerns early to prevent escalation.
Support HR in disciplinary meetings, investigations, and conflict resolution. 5. Policy Communication & Implementation Communicate new and existing policies clearly to all production staff. Ensure supervisors understand and enforce policies consistently. Provide feedback to HR on policy effectiveness and gaps. Expected Outcomes 1. Clear documentation and communication of decisions. 2. Coordinated, High‑Functioning Teams Improved teamwork, communication, and accountability across shifts. Stronger alignment between HR, Production, and Supervisors. 3. Daily Personnel Management Tools Updated logs, reports, attendance records, and performance notes. Clear dashboards for HR and Production leadership. Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of HR policies, IR practices, and disciplinary procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain objective, calm, and fair in challenging situations. Strong observational and documentation skills. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and shift‑based operations. Ability to coach supervisors and frontline staff. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in HR, production supervision, or plant operations. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred. Training in safety, security, or conflict resolution is an asset.
