Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Human Resources Management Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Partner with leadership to drive organisational performance and workforce effectiveness. Provide expert HR advice and support to management. Talent Acquisition & Management Oversee recruitment and selection processes. Drive talent management, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.
Support workforce planning and organisational development. Employee Relations & Compliance Manage disciplinary, grievance, and employee relations matters. Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, and Skills Development legislation. Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures. Learning & Development Identify skills gaps and coordinate training interventions.
Drive performance management and employee development programmes. Facilitate succession planning and leadership development initiatives. HR Operations Oversee payroll inputs, remuneration, benefits administration, and HR systems. Monitor and report on HR metrics and workforce trends. Manage HR budgets and support strategic decision-making through people analytics. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' HR Generalist experience. Proven experience managing the full HR function. Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices. Experience in performance management, recruitment, employee relations, and organisational development. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience within the Financial Services sector. FAIS and RE-5 qualification.
Exposure to payroll, remuneration, HR systems, and HR analytics.
