The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. Our newly established HR Service Centre is partly responsible for the entire personnel administration of all employees as well as personnel controlling and is currently undergoing a pronounced phase of innovation. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a professionally competent, committed and digitally savvy individual as HR Services Specialist (fixed-term 1 year) 100% Tasks You take responsibility for the entire personnel administration from entry to exit.

This includes the creation of orders, certificates, confirmations as well as the maintenance of master data You are responsible for a smooth and efficient onboarding process, including scheduling, provision of information and materials for new employees Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for absence management and act as an interface to our insurance partners You help to identify optimisation potentials in our HR processes, co-design them and implement new, more efficient procedures You engage with current trends in HR software and contribute your professional expertise to the team Profile You have a qualification as an HR specialist or an equivalent further education and bring at least 2 years of relevant HR experience You are a proactive, inquisitive and innovative personality and understand how to quickly build sustainable relationships with a wide variety of groups You enjoy shaping change, are interested in digital topics and are a role model for efficiency Ideally, you have already worked for the Canton of Zurich and/or have experience with the UKA Solutions application You have an impeccable reputation Offer An engaged, well-functioning team awaits you You will be part of the transformation process towards a modern, efficient and digital HR Service Centre Your workplace in the state-of-the-art Zurich Police and Justice Centre is centrally located and offers both a staff restaurant and an in-house fitness centre With employment at the Canton of Zurich, you enjoy attractive employment conditions with a secure employer You will make an impact in a highly meaningful environment Start date: Immediately or by arrangement Any questions?
