About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR and Recruiting functions for our Trinidad & Tobago operation, supporting approximately 150 employees across multiple business units within a revenue recovery services environment. This role serves as the primary HR leader for the location, partnering with business leaders and operational managers to drive workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, talent acquisition, compliance, and organizational performance.
The ideal candidate balances strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, overseeing the full employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Trinidad & Tobago labor laws and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Serve as the HR partner for the Trinidad & Tobago operation, partnering with site and business unit leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives, workforce productivity, and employee engagement Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly, professional, technical, and leadership positions, including staffing plans, sourcing strategies, job postings, interviewing, offer administration, and onboarding Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and advising managers on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, attendance management, and conflict resolution Lead performance management processes and support managers in establishing performance expectations and accountability measures Support employee training, leadership development, coaching, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across multiple business units Lead change management initiatives and support the implementation of new processes, technologies, and business strategies Ensure compliance with Trinidad & Tobago employment legislation, labor laws, occupational health and safety requirements, and statutory regulations Maintain HR policies, employee records, and documentation in accordance with legal and company standards Act as the primary liaison with the organization's third-party payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data, payroll changes, and statutory deductions Oversee HRIS, applicant tracking systems, personnel records, and HR reporting; analyze workforce and recruiting metrics to support operational effectiveness Competencies Strong understanding of Human Resources best practices and employment legislation Ability to interpret and apply labor laws, policies, and employment regulations Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Strong recruiting and interview techniques Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proficiency with HRIS systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related field Minimum 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple job levels and functions Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multiple departments or business units within a fast-paced operational, service, contact center, collections, revenue recovery, BPO, or shared services environment Knowledge of Trinidad & Tobago labor and employment laws
