What is my role? As an industrial mechanic at our client, you organise and carry out maintenance and repairs on machines, systems and equipment at the locations in Zurich and St. Gallen. You independently undertake unplanned repairs during ongoing production and support machine overhauls in the subsidiaries in Austria and Hungary (approx. 3 x 2 weeks per year). Your duties also include turning, milling, drilling, grinding, manual and welding work as well as preventive maintenance.
Additionally, you take care of the procurement, production and inventory management of spare parts and actively contribute to technical projects. What do I need to be successful? You have a completed apprenticeship as a machine or polymechanic and possess solid knowledge in assembly technology, pneumatics and conventional manufacturing. With at least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment , you are very familiar with the field.
