The skilled trades industry requires precision, and in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured parts, including truck boxes, dump trailers, and flatbeds, are sprayed and coated to a consistently high quality.
Your day-to-day activities will not only involve painting in a dedicated spray booth but also washing, sandblasting, and prepping materials to guarantee the perfect finish. Your expertise in skilled trades will ensure that the final products are visually appealing, resilient, and ready for commercial use. Safety and environmental compliance are paramount in this skilled trades position. You will be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and legally compliant workspace.
This means properly maintaining ventilation systems, compressed air units, and your personal protective equipment. You will actively identify, document, and report any potential environmental or safety concerns to the Joint Health & Safety Committee. By maintaining strict quality control and identifying defective products early in the process, you will help uphold the manufacturing excellence our client is known for.
