Join our Information Governance (IG) team as an Information Governance and Records Manager and play an important role in supporting the Trust to manage information safely, lawfully and effectively. Working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Information Governance, you will contribute to the delivery of IG strategies, policies and compliance across Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

This is a varied role with the opportunity to: Support data protection audits and the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit requirements. Provide advice on information governance matters, including information sharing, contracts and Data Protection Impact Assessments. Promote good records management and support staff through training and guidance. Coordinate agendas, reports and minutes for key Information Governance and Information Asset Group meetings.

Help ensure the Trust meets relevant legislation, national guidance and best practice. Lead the Trust-wide archiving service, ensuring records are appropriately retained, archived or securely destroyed. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust and help strengthen a culture of good information governance and records management., As Information Governance and Records Manager, you will support the effective management of information and records across the Trust., Supporting the Head of Information Governance and Data Protection Officer with IG strategies, policies, compliance and assurance.

Advising on relevant requirements, including UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Access to Health Records Act 1990, Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations, confidentiality, Caldicott principles and records management guidance. Supporting data protection audits and the Data Security and Protection Toolkit. Providing timely advice on information governance queries, including contracts, information sharing and transfer agreements, service mobilisations and demobilisations, and Data Protection Impact Assessments.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Data Protection Impact Assessments and the FOI Publication Scheme. Supporting records management training and raising awareness of good practice. Coordinating information governance meetings, including agendas, reports and minutes. Managing the Trust-wide archiving service, including identifying and appraising records, preparing records for archiving and ensuring appropriate destruction in line with national guidance.
