The Inspector l performs inspections of materials and verifies process results to ensure conformance to specifications, requirements, and guidelines.EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredTwo-year tech school degree or equivalent experience preferredBasic QualificationsMinimum one year experience in quality, inspection or machining preferredMust possess ability to learn new tasks and able to read/write and interpret standard work instructionsGeneral Tasks and ResponsibilitiesUse precision measuring devices to effectively inspect partsOperate machinery such as hand tools, air tools, and torque wrenchesApply and correctly interpret reusability guidelines and determine disposition of materialsAble to operate pallet jacks and other moving equipmentAssist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes as necessaryParticipate in the CI/PID ProcessActively listen and follow directions provided to youAbility to work independently with support from Team Leads and Section ManagerAbility to understand labeling and flow of work in progressAbility to understand and follow SWI's and daily Production SchedulesAbility to adhere to facility policies to include good attendance and company valuesAny duties or tasks that may be assigned to promote cross training or support for various areas of the shopPeople Related Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPromote a culture based on our Values in ActionFollow established facility safety policies, safe job procedures and hazardous risk assessments and using the proper Personal Protective equipment for the specific job being performedWork with variety of employees throughout the day to effectively communicate needs and to perform job related tasksProven ability to work in a team settingServe as a positive role model and contribute to team effort by supporting all employees in our organizationEnsure customer requirements are metConduct business with the highest level of honesty and integrityAbility to Interface with plant management, supervisors and production personnelCompensation & Benefits Offered!Hourly Pay Range: $20.53 - $26.13 (salary negotiations to be offered based on skills/experience)1st shift Work Hours: 6:00AM- 4:30PMMonday - Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime80 hours of vacation with an additional 24 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO)10 Paid holidays100% 401k match up to 6% offered on day 1 of employmentHealth, dental, vision, & life insurance offered on day 1 of employmentPotential annual performance increaseClean/safe work environmentPaid holiday shut down at the end of the year (dependent upon business needs)All eligible candidates MUST pas
