Head to Toe is the charity of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT). We provide additional support and services that enhance the outstanding work of NHS colleagues delivering physical health, mental health and social care services throughout the region.

Working in partnership with frontline healthcare teams, we fund innovative projects, initiatives and services that improve patient experience, wellbeing and outcomes. Our mission is to enhance the lives of patients, service users and staff by providing resources and opportunities beyond what can be funded through core NHS budgets. We are now seeking an experienced charity leader to join us as Interim Head of Charity (Maternity Cover) and help drive the next phase of our development.

Main duties of the job As Interim Head of Charity (Maternity Cover), you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Head to Toe, ensuring the charity delivers maximum benefit for patients, service users and staff while maintaining the highest standards of governance, accountability and impact.

Reporting to the Head to Toe Charity Committee, as a Sub-Committee of the Trust’s Board, and working closely with the Trust's Executive Team, you will act as the charity's lead ambassador, building strong relationships with stakeholders, supporters and partners, while raising the profile of the charity across the Trust and wider community. You will lead a small, dedicated team and oversee all aspects of the charity's fundraising, grant-making, communications, governance and financial management.
