Job Vacancy: INTERIOR FINISHING (TITP) Employer/Company: Oasis Cooperative Society DMW Accreditation No.: 10346746 Job Location: Japan Oasis Cooperative Society is seeking qualified and hardworking Interior Finishing Workers under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) to work in Japan. The successful candidates will assist with interior construction and finishing activities, including installation, preparation, repair, and finishing of interior surfaces while following construction plans, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
INTERIOR FINISHING (TITP) Qualifications: Male, 25–35 years old. At least High School Graduate. Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience. Physically and emotionally healthy and capable of performing construction and interior finishing work. Willing to perform physically demanding tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and working at construction sites. Basic knowledge of interior finishing, construction, carpentry, or related work.
Able to follow measurements, drawings, instructions, and workplace procedures. Familiar with the proper and safe use of basic hand tools and construction equipment. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and willing to work as part of a team. Willing to learn Japanese construction techniques and workplace practices. Willing to undergo four (4) months of Japanese language training, free of charge.
Responsibilities: Assist with interior finishing and construction work at residential, commercial, and other building sites. Prepare interior work areas and surfaces before installation or finishing. Assist with the installation and finishing of walls, ceilings, partitions, floors, and other interior components. Measure, mark, cut, and fit materials according to drawings and work instructions. Perform basic carpentry and finishing tasks as required.
Assist with the installation of plasterboard, panels, trim, moldings, and other interior finishing materials. Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, plastering, or other finishing applications. Assist with patching, repairing, sanding, smoothing, and finishing interior surfaces. Ensure proper alignment, measurements, and fitting of interior materials. Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly.
Handle, transport, and store construction and finishing materials properly. Inspect completed work for quality, appearance, alignment, and workmanship. Correct minor defects or assist skilled workers with necessary repairs and adjustments. Follow construction drawings, measurements, specifications, and instructions from supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project.
Follow proper safety procedures when using tools, equipment, ladders, and construction materials. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at the worksite. Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete assigned tasks. Follow Japanese construction site rules, workplace procedures, and safety standards. Perform other interior finishing and construction-related duties as assigned.
