Labcorp is seeking a Commercial Finance Intern to join our Commercial Finance Team located in Indianapolis, IN with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Work Schedule: Days/Hours: Monday-Friday / 40 hours per week Job Responsibilities: Support commercial analysts and managers with data collection, validation, and analysis. Assist in preparing client and internal financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Perform research and analytical work to support commercial strategy initiatives. Assist with development and maintenance of business tools, models, and reporting processes. Organize and summarize large data sets to identify trends and business insights. Participate in project meetings and support ongoing commercial initiatives. Collaborate with team members across Commercial Finance, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel-based analyses for management review. Support process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program. Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Additional Job Standards: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to work with large data sets and organize information effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment. Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or other analytical tools is a plus. Interest in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or clinical research is preferred. Comfortable working with quantitative data and business metrics. Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
