Duties will include, but are not limited to: Assisting walk-in customers in the showroom Handling telephone and email sales enquiries Advising customers on suitable timber and related products Preparing quotations and following up with customers Processing sales orders and invoices Checking stock availability and advising customers on lead times Liaising with the warehouse regarding orders, collections and deliveries Maintaining good relationships with existing and new customers Handling customer queries and providing after-sales service General sales administration and maintaining accurate customer records Requirements: Matric Previous internal sales, counter sales or showroom sales experience Experience within the timber, building materials, hardware or construction industry will be advantageous Strong customer service and communication skills Good numerical ability Computer literate Accurate and detail-orientated Able to work in a busy sales environment and handle several enquiries at once Friendly, professional and sales-driven The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, practical and confident in assisting clients with product selection while providing a high level of service.
