Quick Facts Location: Eureka, CA Start Date: 08/27/2026 Duration: Multiple periods through 01/08/2027 Shift: 24-Hour Beeper Call (Inpatient) Hours/Week: As scheduled (call shift) Employment Type: Locum Tenens Licenses/Certs: Active CA License, BC or BE certification, ACTIVE FLUOR Experience: Preference for current hospital activity in cardiology with at least 2 years of specialty experience Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in line with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to assist throughout the assignment What You’ll Do Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage during scheduled call shifts Manage acute cardiac cases requiring intervention Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per hospital protocol Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for high-acuity patients Ensure timely documentation and follow-up for all cases Participate in emergent call responses and on-call duties What You Need Valid California Medical License in Cardiology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (within 3–5 years of residency) ACTIVE FLUOR certification Minimum 2 years of current hospital-based clinical activity in cardiology Ability to work 24-hour call shifts and handle high-complexity cases About the Assignment A leading facility in Eureka, California, is seeking an interventional cardiologist for inpatient call coverage.
