We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist for a locum opportunity in North Dakota. Providers must have strong general IR experience, with stroke thrombectomy capability required. Coverage Schedule Orientation: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Current Coverage Needs: August 13 (8:00 AM) – August 18 (8:00 AM) September 4 (8:00 AM) – September 11 (8:00 AM) Daily onsite hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Evening call: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM 24-hour weekend call Practice Details Average 10–15 IR procedures per onsite day Providers are not required to read diagnostic studies between IR cases Weekday and weekend callback is primarily for emergency cases EMR: Epic Required Procedures & Skills Diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions Angiography (arterial & venous) Angioplasty and stenting Thrombolytic and embolization therapy Vascular access devices, PICCs, central lines, ports IVC filter placement TIPS Aspiration and drainage procedures Percutaneous needle biopsies Biliary and renal extractions Abscess drainage Thoracentesis Paracentesis Myelography Pain management procedures Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram Blood patch Joint and epidural injections Vertebroplasty Arthrograms Chest tube insertion Uterine artery embolization Liver Y-90 / TACE Gastrostomy tube placement Nephrostomy and ureteral stent placement Renal fistulograms Cryoablation Neuro (Head) Stroke Thrombectomy – Required Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology Strong general IR experience Stroke thrombectomy experience is required Active North Dakota license (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Completion of credentialing and enrollment paperwork before the assignment Compensation & Benefits $520/hour Travel & Lodging Provided Medical Malpractice Insurance with Unlimited Tail Coverage If you're interested in this opportunity, please apply with your updated CV or contact us for additional information.
