Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory / Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting cycle counts, and fulfilling production requests.

The ideal candidate has prior inventory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inventory Management Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders Label materials with appropriate SKUs and ensure proper identification Accurately enter receipts into the inventory system Store and move materials to designated BIN locations Inventory Control Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment Production Support Fulfill material requests from production accurately and in a timely manner Ensure materials are delivered to meet production schedules General Duties Follow all safety policies and procedures Communicate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams Support additional tasks as needed Qualifications Prior inventory or warehouse experience required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and match packing slips, purchase orders, and part numbers Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Dependable and team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: https://jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com/eeoc/Completion of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
