Your role: As an Invigilator at Thomas Deacon Academy, you'll help ensure examinations run smoothly, fairly and in accordance with exam regulations.
Working as part of a supportive Exams Team, you'll supervise exam sessions, assist students before and during exams, and help create a calm, focused environment where every pupil has the opportunity to succeed. We're looking for reliable, punctual and professional individuals with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to remain focused throughout exam sessions.
Previous experience in a school or exam setting is beneficial but not essential, as full training and safeguarding guidance will be provided. Availability Requirements: To be considered, applicants must be available to work a minimum of three days per week between 8:30am and 4:00pm during the key exam periods of November, April, May and June. Due to the nature of the role, this availability is essential.
Successful applicants must also be available to attend half-day invigilator training sessions on 1 October and 1 March.
