Main duties of the job role include but are not limited to: Lead and develop the Infrastructure and Client Computing team, driving service performance, resilience and continual improvement. Manage supplier relationships and third-party support contracts, ensuring effective performance and value for money. Oversee delivery of technical cyber security controls supporting Cyber Essentials Plus, DSPT and NHS cyber security standards.
Ensure infrastructure, cloud and end-user computing services support audit readiness, cyber resilience, business continuity and incident response. Maintain infrastructure platforms within vendor support and lead the planning and delivery of upgrades and lifecycle management. Ensure compliance with patching, endpoint protection and cyber security standards. Act as the senior escalation point for infrastructure and client computing service issues and provide leadership, coaching and development to technical staff, maximising team capability and performance.
Provide specialist expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, virtualisation and cloud services. Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
