Our client is looking for an IT Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for ensuring reliable IT services, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the organisation’s strategic technology objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation in Dublin. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across the business.
Manage IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and business-critical systems. Ensure cybersecurity, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements are maintained. Support and optimise business applications, integrations, and reporting solutions. Manage third-party vendors, service providers, and technology contracts. Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver effective technology solutions. Key Experience Required: Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, or similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, business applications, and cybersecurity.
Experience managing IT service delivery, operational support, and vendor relationships. Demonstrated experience delivering technology projects and driving continuous improvement. Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance best practices. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Educational Requirements Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, AWS, or Cyber Security qualifications are desirable.
