Jefe de Recursos Humanos – Montevideo, Uruguay HR Lead – Uruguay   We’re looking for an HR Lead to build the Human Resources function for CoreX in Uruguay, based in Montevideo with regular visits to the plant in Libertad, San José. If you process payroll yourself rather than supervising it, know Uruguayan labour legislation and have been through a Consejos de Salarios cycle, this is a rare opportunity to build a function from nothing with a multinational group behind you.

The Company CoreX Uruguay – CoreX Chemicals SAS is the sole Vitamin K3 producer in the Americas, manufacturing Vitamin K3 and its derivatives for animal nutrition and Basic Chromium Sulphate for the global leather industry, with customers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. It is part of CoreX Holding BV, a multinational industrial group operating in 55 countries. They have selected Globe 24-7 Inc.

as their strategic recruitment and selection partner to successfully fill the above position. The Role The HR Lead is the entire Human Resources function for the Uruguayan operation. There are no processes, no policies and no team — the role builds all of it while keeping the operation compliant: payroll, contracts, employee records, hiring, labour relations and the groundwork for collective bargaining.

It reports to the Managing Director in Uruguay and works closely with CoreX Holding HR. Main responsibilities HR Function Set-Up & Governance Recruitment, Workforce Planning & Onboarding Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Employee & Labour Relations HR Compliance & Risk Management Performance, Training & Development HR Reporting, Budget & Organisational Culture   The Requirements At least 5 years of Human Resources experience, with a minimum of two in an industrial, manufacturing or plant environment.

Hands-on payroll processing and solid knowledge of Uruguayan labour legislation, including BPS and MTSS obligations. The role processes payroll rather than supervising it. End-to-end exposure to a Consejos de Salarios cycle — preparation, negotiation, agreement and implementation. Proven generalist experience across recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management and HR administration.

Experience setting up or improving HR processes, policies and documentation. Comfortable operating hands-on as the sole HR resource in an evolving, entrepreneurial business. Fluent Spanish and English at B2 level or above. Why this Role Build a Human Resources function from the ground up, with the backing of an industrial group present in 55 countries.
