Primary Care GP Brighton | 46 sessions per week | £84,660 per annum based on 6 sessions Help shape how primary care is delivered in your Brighton community. At IC24, we're building something ambitious in Brighton - and we're looking for GPs who want to help shape it. Over the last two years, our Brighton practices have been on a significant transformation journey. We've made substantial changes to the way we work and are now bringing our Sussex practices much closer together, creating stronger links between teams and sharing expertise, resources and support across our services.
We're now taking the next step. Allied Medical Practice, Church Surgery and School House Surgery are coming together as part of a wider vision for primary care in Brighton, with plans to move into purpose-built practices next year. This will give us the capacity to significantly grow our patient population and create a modern, sustainable primary care service for the future. We're looking for Primary Care, We're looking for GPs who value continuity, take the time to understand their patients and enjoy the breadth and variety that General Practice offers.
This role involves delivering high-quality General Practice through face-to-face and virtual consultations, clinical administration, and home visits where appropriate. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside experienced GPs, Practice Nurses, and pharmacists. We support areas such as long-term conditions, mental health, sexual health, HIV care, and women's health. If you enjoy improving things, working collaboratively, and having a genuine influence on the way care is delivered, we would like to hear from you.
You'll be joining an organisation committed to building and improving primary care services and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services., As our services develop, there will be opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, health promotion, QOF, locally commissioned services and service development. We're looking for people who don't just identify what isn't working but are interested in working out how to make it better.
Helping shape the future of the practices We're ambitious about what our Brighton services can become. You'll have opportunities to work with clinical and operational colleagues to develop new ways of working, improve patient pathways and help shape the model of care as our practices grow., You'll care for patients with a broad range of health needs, balancing face-to-face consultations, telephone appointments, clinical administration and occasional home visits.
Some clinics will be busy, and you'll regularly make complex clinical decisions while managing competing priorities. You'll also be working across practice sites and within a service that is continuing to change and develop. We don't want to pretend everything is already perfect. We're building and improving - and that's precisely why this is an interesting time to join us. You'll have the support of experienced colleagues and a wider IC24 primary care community, but you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to how the service develops.
If you're a GP who is resilient, adaptable, clinically curious and motivated by making things better, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference here., Hours: 46 sessions per week (28.5 hours for 6 sessions), preferably Monday to Wednesday but there is flexibility here for the right person. Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, a satisfactory enhanced DBS check with barred list checks and satisfactory references.
