Junior Laboratory Technician - Entry-level

Location: Akasia, Pretoria Position Level: Entry Level The Junior Laboratory Technician is mainly responsible for conducting chemical, physical and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process materials and finished products, while ensuring accurate interpretation and reporting of results. The role also supports the Quality Assurance Manager with laboratory validations and investigations, ensuring compliance with GLP and GMP requirements.

Other duties will include, but are not limited to: Scientific report writing Investigating and resolving deviations identified through quality control testing Communicating with external laboratories and service providers regarding routine and non-routine testing requirements Requirements & Qualifications: Grade 12 with N3-level Mathematics and Science MUST reside in the Northern Pretoria area An N4 qualification in a food- or laboratory-related field (e.g.

Food Technology diploma) will be advantageous Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good communication skills, both telephonic and written/email Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel How to Apply: Suitable candidates may send their CVs.
