Knowledge Management & Innovation Manager

A leading law firm is seeking a KMI Manager to drive the firm’s adoption of AI tools and workflows in direct partnership with attorneys, translating legal workflows into scalable, firmwide AI solutions. This role can be based in any of the firm’s U.S. offices with a hybrid work arrangement. The Manager will partner directly with attorneys and paralegals to implement AI solutions, identifying patterns across matters and leading projects from concept through firmwide rollout, while developing deep platform expertise across the firm’s core AI tools.

The role also supports AI governance in partnership with the Associate Director of Knowledge Management & Innovation and the Chief Compliance Officer, focusing on legal and workflow risk rather than technical security. Additional responsibilities include designing and leading an ongoing communications and training program tailored to different practice groups, working with Practice Support Lawyers and the Attorney Training team.

Candidates should have a law firm background as an attorney, paralegal, or legal operations professional (J.D. or paralegal certification a plus but not required), with 5+ years of experience implementing AI tools directly with attorneys, strong platform fluency, and sound legal judgment around AI-related risk. The anticipated salary range is $126,000–$189,000.
