Permanent job opening Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible neonatologist Join a growing practice at Lake Charles Regional Medical Center Become part of a collaborative, physician-led team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care Work within a patient-centered model focused on the health and wellness of newborns and their families Opportunity Highlights: 12-bed Level III NICU Collaborative two-neonatologist model 24/7 in-house NNP coverage Strong interdisciplinary support and resources Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to newborns in a Level III NICU, including premature and critically ill infants Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of neonatal conditions Perform neonatal procedures within scope of practice Collaborate with NNPs, pediatricians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members Communicate effectively with families regarding clinical status and treatment plans Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in shared call coverage and team-based responsibilities Ideal Candidate: Board certified or board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Strong clinical expertise in NICU care Commitment to collaborative, team-based practice Excellent communication and leadership skills Dedication to evidence-based medicine Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
