Role Purpose The key purpose to support children during the session. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operational Excellence To ensure the safe transportation of children between the school and club setting. Plan, prepare and deliver various play opportunities and experiences for all the children attending the setting. To be responsible for and promote the health and safety of the children and other staff by dealing with the accidents and emergency situations appropriately.

To adhere to all ELOSCN policies and procedures. To help provide a happy, fun and motivated environment and assist in the smooth running of the setting on a day to day basis To ensure that the equipment and resources in the setting are cared for and well maintained. To leave the premises clean and tidy after each session Stakeholder Excellence Build and maintain relationships with children and families Build and maintain relationships with all school staff Provide information when required by regulatory bodies such as the Care Inspectorate and demonstrate good practice Develop relationships within your local community Support your club with community fundraising Developmental Excellence Maintain your own SSSC registration Complete all your college work in a timely manner (if applicable) Attend regular team meetings and training courses as approved by ELOSCN Pursue CPD opportunities for yourself and other peers Liaise with your club manager to ensure that you are supported in your developmental needs Share your knowledge and experience with other staff members to aid in their development Be known as a role model and someone who others look up to
