As the Lead ERP Developer, you will lead and grow our JDE development function within the technology team, reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications. In this role, you will manage a team of contract developers today, with the opportunity to build out an in-house team as the function grows, while working closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement high-quality JDE EnterpriseOne applications and integrations that drive business value.

You will be both hands-on and a people leader in this role — actively developing, testing, and supporting JDE solutions while also guiding, mentoring, and managing the developers on your team.  Developing and maintaining functional and technical documentation (requirements, feasibility studies, designs, and specifications).  Implementing and supporting systems that meet organizational and departmental needs.  Translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions, personally and through your team.  Analyzing and coding custom reports, UBEs, and programs to extend JDE functionality.

 Prioritizing and coordinating your team's project workload and development schedules in alignment with business priorities.  Logging and managing escalations through the Oracle JDE Help Desk as needed.  Assisting in the integration of JDE with both packaged and custom applications.  Managing the vendor relationship responsible for CNC-related activity, ensuring deliverables, service levels, and support needs are met.

Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (2–3 year post-secondary program minimum).  15+ years of experience working as a JD Edwards Developer (EnterpriseOne 9.1 or newer).  3+ years of experience managing or leading a team of developers, including work assignment, mentoring, and performance management.  Hands-on experience with JDE Orchestrator Studio, BSSV, and related integration tools.

 Expertise in SQL/SEQUEL for complex query development, data analysis, and issue resolution.  Strong knowledge of JDE Financials (GL/AP/AR) and Distribution (Sales and Purchasing) modules.  In-depth understanding of JDE table structures and data interrelationships.  Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in change management.  Excellent communication skills — able to convey technical information clearly to both business and IT stakeholders.
