As Lead Manager for Temporary Accommodation and Support, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for services that deliver temporary accommodation and housing-related support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Reporting to the Assistant Director - Housing Services, you will lead a diverse portfolio including temporary accommodation, tenancy support and specialist support services.

As part of the Housing Services Senior Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping services that support our ambition to be a proud, fair and inclusive city. You will be responsible for service performance, budget management, workforce planning and ensuring services are safe, effective and compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements. You will lead and develop high-performing teams, promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure services are responsive to the needs of residents.

Working collaboratively with a wide range of partners, you will help shape and deliver innovative solutions that improve outcomes for vulnerable residents. You will use data, insight and performance information to drive service improvements, manage change and ensure services remain focused on delivering excellent customer outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious leader with experience in housing, homelessness, temporary accommodation or support services to make a significant impact.

At Newcastle City Council, we are Proud, Fair and Ambitious. We are looking for leaders who share these values and are committed to delivering excellent services, supporting colleagues and making a positive difference to the lives of our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to lead services that make a real difference to some of Newcastle's most vulnerable residents. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, resident-focused services and driving positive outcomes for people facing homelessness and housing crisis.

Newcastle is committed to being a fair city where everyone has access to safe, secure and suitable housing. As demand for homelessness services continues to grow, we are investing in services that provide safe accommodation, personalised support and opportunities for people to rebuild their lives.
